We had the mini crab cakes as an appetizer. These cakes were so light. They were awesome. My husband and I shared a strawberry salad. It was fantastic. My husband had the lasagna and I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. Both were exceptional. Now the home bread, it was awesome. It was date night for us. The ambiance was great. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. The owner came and spoke with us and asked about our experience. Everyone, there was friendly and helpful. It was a great experience overall. Will definitely be returning to the restaurant,

This is the best restaurant in Athens hands down, and it’s one of the best Italian restaurants in North Alabama. Our server, Michelle S., went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and meet all of our needs. We started with delicious bread that was aromatic and tasted freshly baked. Then I got a Caesar salad with dressing that’s apparently made in house, and it was just the right amount of dressing and had great flavor. They even make their own croutons! I ordered eggplant parmesan, and my wife ordered chicken Marsala. Ten minutes later we both had dishes were cooked perfectly, and the portions were big enough for us to take leftovers home. We ended the meal with red velvet cheesecake that actually has cake INSIDE cheesecake. I don’t know what kind of sorcery they use to accomplish that, but it was the most decadent desert I’ve had in years. I will be back to Terranova’s to try everything else they have to offer. Frances and her crew, Katie in the back and Michelle at the bar, are running like a well tuned machine.

Very good Italian restaurant in Athens Alabama. Located in the town square. Prices aren’t bad for the quality of food you get. Eggplant Parmigiana was delicious and Chocolate Covered Cannoli was delicious. Wine reasonably priced. Waitstaff was amazing and worked as a team to make your dining experience out of this world!

I have never been disappointed by a meal here. The vegetable lasagna is my favorite. Oil and pesto with bread is so good.

I had the chicken cannelloni and it was delicious! Had really great service. Will definitely return the next time we are in Athens.
